In-Depth Discussions on the Evolving Middle East Situation

The Middle East is a complicated region, but that doesn't mean talking and learning about it can't be made simple and exciting, without simplifying the issues or resorting to slogans.

Joe Perlov and Rabbi Shimon Felix, both together and separately, have run hundreds of educational programs in Israel and North America - on campus, in synagogues, major Jewish and non-Jewish organizations, and in High schools. They are available to bring interactive, cutting edge programming to your college, community, or organization.

Context Sheds Light, Light Gives Hope

One of Re: IL's premier programs is Conflict in Context: the Changing Map of Israel and the Middle East. This program, which has been presented to thousands of participants in Israel and America, serves as both an introduction to and update of the history of the Middle East, and the current geopolitical situation in Israel and its surroundings. The interaction between Joe and Rabbi Shimon gives participants an understanding of the competing narratives in Israel, as well as the Jewish and non-Jewish worlds, and serves as a window into the various positions at work in the area.

Many Programs to Choose From

Other programs include Jewish and Democratic: How Does that Work?,

an investigation into the Jewish character of the Jewish State, and Jewish Time: a Timeline of Jewish History, which gives participants the background needed to understand who the Jewish people are and how they got to where they are now.

Joe and Rabbi Shimon are available to speak to your group in Israel and North America.
